President of `Boeing-Civil Aviation Airplanes` company visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Delegation led by Scott Carson, president and chief executive officer of `Boeing-Civil Aviation Airplanes` Company, visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on February 6.


Anar Alakbarov, executive director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, updated S. Carson on the objectives of the Foundation established in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

 

Exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity left good impressions on visitors. They were familiarized with numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person`s life and creating a wide idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan. Taking special interest in photo-stands covering wide-scale activity of outstanding political figure Heydar Aliyev as one of heads of former USSR in Moscow, Scott Carson said he was not aware that construction of Baikal-Amur Railroad, one of the biggest constructions of last century, also was managed by popular statesman about whom he got many information.

 

It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also carries out wide-scale projects, gives contribution to realization of desires of the outstanding figure of politics.

 

S. Carson signed guest book, expressed his rich impressions of familiarization with Foundation named after outstanding political Heydar Aliyev. He was presented the book on Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s activity, music album `Karabakh Singers` and memorial badge reflecting photo of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
