Malaysian delegation visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Minister in the Malaysian Prime Minister`s Department Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz and his delegation on 15 February have visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The visors were given detailed information on the goals of the Foundation created in memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

The guests were familiarized with rich exhibits taken from archive of the national leader of Azerbaijan, numerous documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person`s life and creating a wide idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, photos reflecting wide-scale activity of prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev in Moscow, model of territories BTC main export oil pipeline crosses. Mr. Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said that the outstanding politician who once was one of the leaders of former USSR, was well known in the Moslem world, too.

It was noted main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also carries out wide-scale projects, gives contribution to realization of desires of the outstanding figure of politics. President of Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva is Goodwill Ambassador of ISESCO - Islamic Countries Science, Education and Culture Organization bringing together 51 Islamic countries.

The Malaysian Minister signed the Foundation`s Book of Memory, expressed his rich impression of familiarization with the Foundation named after outstanding political figure Heydar Aliyev.

Book on activities of Heydar Aliyev Foundation was presented to the head of delegation.

Malaysian minister also presented a souvenir to the Foundation.
