Delegation led by Vasile Tarlev, Premier of Moldova, visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Delegation led by Vasile Tarlev, Premier of Moldova, visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation on February 22.

Executive director of the Foundation Anar Elekberov informed the guests of goals of the Foundation established as respect in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Premier saw with special interest exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader reflecting separate eras of his activity, documents reflecting the very various moments of genius person`s life and creating a wide idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, photos reflecting wide scale activity of Heydar Aliyev as one of heads of former USSR in Moscow, model of the territories BTC main export oil pipeline crosses. Mr Tarlev stressed he personally knew outstanding political figure Heydar Aliyev, has listened for many times his talks, admired his intellect, noting promotion of a person born in an ordinary Azeri family to supreme leadership of a giant state such as Soviet Union is confirmation of his phenomenal personality. He said Heydar Aliyev was popular in all ally republics, including Moldova as an outstanding statesman.

Guests were informed main goals of the Foundation is to study and propagate rich political legacy of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev, create an obvious idea in foreign visitors and future generations on his large-scale activity towards socio-economic and cultural progress of Azerbaijan, support international projects started by the genius person, help the works implemented in field of wide propaganda of Azeri culture and history. The Foundation also carries out wide-scale projects, gives contribution to realization of desires of the outstanding figure of politics. President of Foundation is Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO.

The Premier signed the guest book of the Foundation, expressed his impression of familiarization with Foundation.

Head of Moldavian government was presented a book on activities of Foundation and music album `Singers of Garabag`.

Vasile Tarlev presented a book reflecting natural beauties of his country to the Foundation and said he would help in establishment of ties between public, non-governmental organizations of Moldova and Foundation.
