Education, youth and sport minister of Moldova Viktor Svirkun and persons accompanying him visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, March 27.

Executive director of the Foundation Anar Elekberov greeted the visitors having arrived to the Foundation to honor the memory of genius person, architect and constructor of independent state of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

Delegation was acquainted with the exhibition of the Foundation. Unique documents taken from the archive of the great leader on his childhood, youth, higher school years, separate periods of his activity, numerous pictures reflecting the very various moments of his life and creating a wide idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented to him by the popular political figures all over the world, photos taken with leaders of different countries, figures of science, culture and art left deep impression on them. His certificate and diploma proving he has graduated from the secondary and higher schools with excellent marks only, honor diploma for excellent education and exemplary conduct, references on his positive features at the bodies he worked, pictures taken in different meetings held in various points of former USSR, cities and districts of the republic, things in the working room revived once more the honorable life.

Highly valuing the works implemented by the Foundation, major goal of which is to propagate the philosophy of Azerbaijanism created by Heydar Aliyev and pass to future generations, in field of settlement of social problems of people needing the help, assistance to children trained at children homes and boarding schools, as well suffering from thalassemia, diabetes, education and culture, the minister appreciated construction and commissioning last year of 132 schools in regions of the republic within `New school to new Azerbaijan` Program, beginning of construction of more 100 schools this year.

The minister, talking of great respect towards national leader Heydar Aliyev by Azeris in Moldova, noted there are warm relations between Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin, head of his country visited the Foundation during his visit to Baku in October 2004. Talking of importance of study of rich life, scientific-theoretical heritage of the great person by the youth, Viktor Svirkun said he was deeply impressed by familiarization with the Foundation, mentioned study and popularization of Heydar Aliyev legacy deserves the highest value.
