The First Vice President of the “Care for Youth General Directorate” of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a delegation accompanying him were at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

The First Vice President of the “Care for Youth General Directorate” of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a delegation accompanying him were at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, May 31.

They were informed about the services of President of the Foundation, member of the Milli Majlis, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO, First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, who has carefully collected all information associated with the life and activity of the national leader and preserved in this establishment, in the creation of the Foundation, talked about its objectives. Then the guests familiarized themselves with the exhibition and expositions of the Foundation. The delegation was provided information about the photos taken from our national leader’s private archive and covering different periods of his activity.

The Prince and accompanying him persons viewed numerous pictures reflecting various periods of the life of person of genius Heydar Aliyev and creating a comprehensive idea about the whole period of the Azerbaijani history, presents given to him by world-renown persons, books about the national leader and pictures taken with leaders of various countries, figures of science, culture and art.  

They viewed materials and photos associated with visits by our national leader to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and meetings held there.

Guests of the Foundation, of which primary objective was to promote the idea of Azerbaijanism created by Heydar Aliyev and deliver to the future generation, highly assessed  the works aimed at solution of problems of concrete people in need of help, in particular the youth,  providing assistance to children being brought up in children’s homes and boarding schools, as well as those suffering thalassemia and diabetes, and works done in the sphere of education and public health.

Prince Amir Navvab bin Feisal bin Fahd wrote his heartfelt word in the Foundation’s Memory Book.

Then the guests were given presents on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
