Former Malaysian Premier Mahathir Mohamad and his spouse Siti Hasmah visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Former Malaysian Premier Mahathir Mohamad and his spouse Siti Hasmah visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, March 4.
Informed about the goals and activities of the Foundation established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader Heydar Aliyev, they were told the Foundation studies and popularizes the national leader`s heritage, implements socioeconomic and humanitarian projects to support Azerbaijan`s progress, development of culture and study of history.
The guests saw exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting the very different aspects of his life and actions and giving a comprehensive idea of the whole history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-known politicians, books dedicated to the national leader, visions said by eminent figures of science, culture and art on the founder of the state of Azerbaijan, also his photographs with leaders of different countries, and a prototype of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main oil export pipeline, which is the fruit of the national leader and named after him.
Mahathir Mohamad signed the Foundation`s guestbook. He was presented a gift.
