Officers of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Officers of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, April 26.
Visiting the Foundation in connection with the 90th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev, officers of the Academy were informed of the Foundation’s activity.
They were told that the Foundation studies and promotes the rich legacy of the national leader. By implementing various social, economic and cultural projects, it provides support to Azerbaijan’s progress and promotion of its culture and history.
Officers of the Military Academy viewed pictures and exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive and covering individual periods of his activity, reflecting the most different moments of his life and giving a broad idea of a whole period of our history. They acquainted themselves with materials related to the childhood and youth years of the eminent political figure, his wide-scale activity as one of the former USSR leaders in Moscow, and the mock-up of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Pipeline.
Then the guests watched a documentary called “Moments of a Great Life” talking of Heydar Aliyev’s glorious course of life.
