The Secretary General of the Eurasian Economic Union visits the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Secretary General of the Eurasian Economic Union Tair Mansurov visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, May 3.

The guest was informed of the objectives and activity of the Foundation established in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

It was noted that the Foundation, which studies and promotes the rich legacy of the national leader, provides support to Azerbaijan’s progress and promotion of its culture and history, by implementing various social, economic and cultural projects. 

The guest acquainted himself with photos and exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive and related to individual periods of his activity.

Tair Mansurov was informed that the period while the national leader was in power was one of the glorious pages of the Azerbaijani history. The socio-economical development recognized today by the world community as a matchless success of our country, achievements reached in the republic are results of the national leader’s activity.

The Secretary General viewed documents reflecting the most different moments of his life and giving a broad idea of a whole period of our history, souvenirs presented by world-renowned political persons, books devoted to the national leader, thoughts of influential persons of science, culture and art about the builder of the independent Azerbaijani state, and photos taken during meetings with foreign country leaders. 

The guest wrote his heartfelt words in the Guest Book.

Then the guest watched a documentary called “Moments of a Great Life” talking of Heydar Aliyev’s glorious course of life.
