Employees of the Baku city Culture and Tourism Department visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Employees of the Baku city Culture and Tourism Department visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, May 3.

Visiting the Foundation in connection with the 90^th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the guests were informed of the Foundation’s activity. They were  told that the Foundation studies and promotes the rich legacy of the national leader and, by implementing various social, economic and cultural projects, it provides support to Azerbaijan’s progress and promotion of its culture and history. 

It was noted that establishment of a modern democratic, jural and secular state, formation of civil society, return to national and moral values and development of science, education and culture are inseparably associated with Heydar Aliyev’s name. Promotion of Azerbaijan’s culture and rich historical heritage to the world community is also among the services of the national leader.

Viewing pictures and exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive and covering individual periods of his activity, reflecting the most different moments of his life and giving a broad idea of a whole period of our history, employees of the department were shown materials related to the childhood and youth years  of the eminent political figure, his wide-scale activity as one of the former USSR leaders in Moscow, and the mock-up of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Pipeline.

Then the Foundation’s guests watched a documentary called “Moments of a Great Life” talking of Heydar Aliyev’s glorious course of life.
