Delegation led by Speaker of Seimas of Lithuania Irena Degutiene visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, February 9.

Informed of goals and actions of the Foundation created in the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the delegates were told the main goal of the Foundation is to study and promote the national leader`s rich heritage, perform socioeconomic and cultural projects to contribute to Azerbaijan`s progress and propaganda of its history and culture.

They were familiarized with the exhibits taken from the archive of Heydar Aliyev and reflecting separate eras of his activity, documents covering the very different moments of the genius person’s life and providing a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, materials on large scale actions of Heydar Aliyev in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, his childhood and youth, a model of BTC oil pipeline route.
