Greek tourism minister visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Greek tourism minister Dimitris Avramopoulos, paying visit to Azerbaijan, and members of delegation led by him attended on April 7 Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Employees of Foundation informed visitors on Foundation created in memory of nationwide leader of Azerbaijani people and its goals.

Tourism minister of Greece and persons accompanying him were familiarized with exhibits taken from personal archive of our nationwide leader and covering separate times of his activity as well numerous pictures reflecting very different moments of his life and creating wide impression of an entire era of Azerbaijani history, books devoted to great son of our people. Unique photos confirm once again that this genius person had very rich and valuable lifetime. Things personally used by great leader caught attention of each of guests as unique and precious exhibit.

Dimitris Avramopoulos and members of delegation saw with interest rich photo-descriptions of 35-year leadership of founder of independent Azerbaijan in republic. Photo-chronicle of works implemented in field of realization of oil strategy of Heydar Aliyev that popularized not only Azerbaijan but also South Caucasus with big-scale projects over the last years, services of our nationwide leader in direction of strengthening of Greece-Azerbaijan friendship caused special interest of guests.

Tourism minister of Greece wrote warm words in Honor Book after familiarization with Foundation.

Then visitors saw view of capital from balcony of Foundation. They highly valued construction works implemented in Baku over the last years and expressed their delight of beauty of city.

During acquaintance with Foundation Dimitris Avramopoulos was accompanied by youth, sport and tourism minister of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev, Greek ambassador to Baku Temistokles Dimidis.
