New Azerbaijan Party Political Board members visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Members of New Azerbaijan Party`s Political Board visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation on December 12 to honor memory of Heydar Aliyev.
Documents taken from personal archive of genius person Heydar Aliyev and covering his childhood, youth, university years, separate periods of his activity, pictures reflecting the very different times of his life and creating a big imagination of an entire period of history of Azerbaijan, gifts granted to him by famous political figures of the world, books written on him, his photos taken with leaders of different states, figures of science, culture and art caused big interest.
Pictures on the Moscow period of life of great leader, his activity as second person in USSR government, honorary membership card 1 of BAM construction confirming his invaluable service in construction of Baikal-Amur Main, visits to a number of countries as head of USSR delegations, meetings held, how he was not afraid of the danger that he could face on bloody January 20th and came to the permanent mission of Azerbaijan to Moscow and condemned as a real son of the homeland the bloody massacre committed against our nation by leadership of USSR under direction of Gorbachev, photo documents showing the delivery to the world of the troubles given to Azerbaijan reflect the pages of the honorary life of the phenomenal person.
Photos reflecting the oil lamp, which was used in their family with many children and after half a century he used it in his working room while heading Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, opening of `Umid` Bridge playing important role in life of the land living in isolation and other numerous pictures create a full impression of the life devoted to the homeland. Employees of the Foundation gave detailed information on all these.
Photo documents covering the big role of New Azerbaijan Party, created by the powerful leader, in statement of state independence of Azerbaijan, integration of the country to the world union, his participation in its conventions caused big interest of visitors.
Then, film `Moments of great life` on the great leader was shown in the cinema-hall of the Foundation.
In this film introducing the phenomenal person as skilful diplomat, prominent politician, generous person and kind head of family the great leader sings folk songs, says wise aphorisms, his deep connection to homeland and people. Especially the big happiness he feels after birth of his grandson Heydar is one of the most impressive moments in the film.
Members of New Azerbaijan Party`s Political Board highly valued the works done by the Foundation in field of assistance to the people needing care and help, solution of social problems of people, aid to children trained in children homes and boarding schools, suffering from thalassemia, diabetes, education science, and culture.
Visitors, deeply impressed by the familiarization with the Foundation, said every Azerbaijani loving its nation and homeland has in its heart eternal statue of Heydar Aliyev. Debt of all of us is to study his rich life and scientific heritage and to deliver it to the young generations. The works done by the Foundation in creation of this sacred center, research and collection of legacy of Heydar Aliyev and its agitation and popularization in the world deserve the high value and supported by the society.
