Khojaly tragedy marked in over 100 countries due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Anniversary of Khojaly tragedy is marked in over 100 countries due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Series of events on the genocide are carried out in base of propaganda materials provided by the Foundation.

 

Beside the cities where commemorative ceremonies are held yearly the genocide is marked also in Oslo, Norway this year.

 

Film ‘Khojaly genocide’ made by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, photos showing Armenian atrocities in Khojaly and materials on Khojaly tragedy posted in different years on influential publications of foreign countries, expositions of selections from art contest ‘Khojaly in the Eyes of Children’ organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation at secondary schools and children homes will be displayed in the ceremonies.

 

‘True Facts about Garabagh’ collection developed by the Foundation for the international community and book ‘War against Azerbaijan: Targeting Cultural Heritage’ will also be presented in the events.

 

‘True Facts about Garabagh’ collection provides detailed information on history of Garabagh, beginning of the conflict, Khojaly genocide, consequences of Armenian aggression, act of Armenian terror organizations against Azerbaijan. Published since 2005 in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German and Hungarian languages the collection has been presented this year to the Japanese community too.

 

The collection of high-level polygraphy that is rich in photographs includes map of Azerbaijan remarking the territories occupied by Armenia, as well information on damage caused by the conflict, victims of the occupation.

 

English-language book ‘War against Azerbaijan: Targeting Cultural Heritage’ talks of vandalism committed by Armenians against our national and historical monuments.

 

Representatives of various institutions, diplomatic missions, foreign mass media, residents of cities where ceremonies take place are invited to these events aiming to provide fair and correct information to the world community on Khojaly genocide.
