A village called “Autumn presents of Azerbaijan” is inaugurated in Moscow with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

A village called “Autumn presents of Azerbaijan” will be functioning on the Tver Square of Moscow, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Moscow Government, supported by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, October 17 to 21.

 

Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the trade and services department Aleksey Nemeryuk, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu and other officials attended the inauguration of the village, October 18.

 

Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the trade and services department Aleksey Nemeryuk noted that the best products made in Azerbaijan were presented there.

 

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu thanked the Moscow Government, Mayor of the Russian capital Sergey Sobyanin, and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the organization of the exhibition.

 

Azerbaijan’s culture and history, samples from the national cuisine are presented, and products of coppersmithery, carpet-weaving and various types of art are displayed in the village. Over the course of five days, concerts and exhibitions will be organized in the framework of promoting Azerbaijan’s culture, and visitors will also be given master classes on making various samples of national art, as well as on national dances, and performing on national music instruments.

 

Restaurants and a tea house introducing the Azerbaijani cuisine in the framework of the event organized sale of various products made in Azerbaijan. Moreover, products of the national souvenir brand “I Love Baku” are presented here. Various publications by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will help Muscovites and guests of the Russian capital get comprehensive information about our country’s history, culture, people, art, and our national cuisine.

 

On the days while the village is functioning, performances of the State Dance Ensemble, the State Instrumental Ensemble, and Gaytaghy Ensemble led by People’s Artist Anvar Sadigov will take place, and a musical programme accompanied by Shahriyar Imanov will be presented.

 

Those visiting the village will have a chance to purchase colourful food types, souvenirs, and participate in various master classes, become acquainted with the photo-exhibition, watch performances of creative groups, and learn from professional cooks the art of making national dishes. Guests of the event will have a chance to taste samples of the Azerbaijani cuisine.
