Republic Day celebrated in Eskishehir due to support of representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey

The 28 May – Republic Day was celebrated in Eskishehir due to support of the Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey.

Photo exhibition ‘Let’s Know Brother Azerbaijan’ was organized in frame of the celebrations by the Eskishehir Azerbaijanis Circle. The exhibition featured photographs reflecting the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan and modern Azerbaijan’s successes.

Then, ceremony on the Republic Day took place at the Eskishehir Teachers House.

Addressing the event, which brought together members of the Eskishehir Azerbaijanis Circle, Azerbaijani teachers and students living in the town, Head of the Circle Javid Aydin expressed gratitude to the Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Turkey, talked of history of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan, the first democratic republic in the East, and successes of the modern state of Azerbaijan founded by great leader Heydar Aliyev. He mentioned Azerbaijani youth in Turkey support the policy of President Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of Heydar Aliyev’s political line.   

After the ceremony, Azerbaijani songs and dances were performed, reception was given.
