Events associated with the 21st anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Heydar Aliyev Centre have been working actively on delivering the true essence of the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Daghlyg Garabagh conflict to the world public within the framework of a joint project by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Heydar Aliyev Centre, while ideological propaganda is of great importance. For this purpose, specially prepared expositions and booklets in English have been sent to 25 countries of the world on the eve of Khojaly Genocide’s anniversary in order to support actions.  


In addition to 17 expositions and publications sent, through diplomatic representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad, to USA, the South African Republic, South Korea, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Japan, people of Austria, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Iran, Spain, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Turkmenistan will also have a chance to receive comprehensive information about the bloody atrocities and  acts of vandalism committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly.


In expositions, photos reflecting the atrocities committed by Armenian military forces during the occupation of Khojaly, and materials printed in influential publications of various foreign countries will be presented. Moreover, demonstration of a film talking of the Khojaly Genocide is planned to demonstrate at the commemorative ceremony.


Booklets “Khojaly Genocide”  prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Centre and “True Facts About Garabagh” prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation reflect, in addition to the genocide committed at the end of the 20th century against humanity, comprehensive information about the history of Garabagh, outbreak of the conflict, results of the Armenian invasion, as well as activity of Armenian terror organizations against Azerbaijan.


Representatives of various entities, diplomatic missions, city residents, as well as representatives of mass media are invited to these events that aim at delivering the world public impartial and true information about the Khojaly Genocide, and forming a public opinion.
