Presentation of the Baku-2015 First European Games in Budapest

On 21 February 2015, presentation of the Baku-2015 First European Games took place at historical Vigado concert palace of Budapest, the capital of Hungary, with organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and assistance by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hungary.


The event was attended by Hungarian Minister for Human Resources Zoltan Balog, Mayor of Budapest city Ishtvan Tarlosh, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov, deputies, representatives of embassies accredited in Hungary, sport veterans of this country and sportsmen to take part in the First European Games, as well as Azerbaijanis working and living in Hungary.


Within the framework of the event, an exhibition entitled “We Together” devoted to “Baku-2015” was arranged. Works by over 20 Azerbaijani sculptors were demonstrated at the exhibition comprised of bronze statues. Guests were presented various publications of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation about Azerbaijan, including booklets devoted to the First European Games.


A dinner-party was arranged after the video-presentation devoted to the Baku-2015 First European Games.


The ceremony continued with a concert programme.
