Secondary school №112 in Pirshaghy settlement of Sabunchu district has been rebuilt within the project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation “New school to new Azerbaijan”.
Having functioned since 1934, the school became useless and, in 2011, it was totally demolished and construction of a new school started in its place. President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurated the new building of the school on March 14, 2013.
With 4205 m² total area of the school, the building occupies an area of 3892 m². In 2005, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation built an additional building for 240 pupil for this education institution. With the newly built building, the school will allow education of 660 pupils.
Being three-storied, the school has primary education classrooms, subject rooms and laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, rooms for laboratory assistant, a military training and arms room, a painting and drawing room, a computer room, a library, a reading room, psychologist’s room, a canteen and rooms for utilities. All classrooms have been provided with teaching aids, visual aids and equipment. The school’s library has been provided with bélles-léttres in 200 names and 13 thousand textbooks.
Two 100 m³ water basins and a pumping room have been built in order to provide the school with drinking and fire water.
Improvement works have been done in the school’s yard and greenery planted.
