Secondary school in Istisu settlement of Khachmaz

The secondary school in Istisu settlement of Khachmaz district has been constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Constructed in 1938, the secondary school in Istisu settlement of Khachmaz district had fallen into disrepair during the previous period. Construction works launched at the beginning of 2024 in connection with building a new school were completed and the education institution was commissioned.

The three-storied school consists of 2 buildings. Meant for 320 pupils, the school has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment. The subject rooms-physics, chemistry and biology, rooms for information technology, military training, first aid and labour training, and laboratories have been equipped with visual aids. Here are also a library, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground.

Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the backyard of the school.
