Mugham World 5th International Mugham Festival
During March 7 - 14, 2018, the Mugham World 5th International Mugham Festival took place with joint organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Composers Union, and the National Conservatoire of Azerbaijan.
Concerts were organized in the framework of the Festival in Baku and Ganja cities, with participation of Azerbaijani and foreign musicians, and an international scientific symposium and a mugham contest took place. Musicians from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Moldova, Iran, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco and Israel joined the contest.
Musicians and judges from Turkey, Moldova, Poland, Iran, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Georgia, India, Israel and other countries participated in the events.
