Days of Azerbaijani culture – 2018 in Cannes
Days of Azerbaijani culture took place in the course of 14 July – 4 August 2018 in the city of Cannes, enjoying the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
In the framework of the culture days, opening of the exhibition “Love Tandem”, comprising works by renowned Azerbaijani artists Latif Feyzullayev and Vajihe Samadova, took place in the Palace of Festivals and Congresses in Cannes.
Over 50 works by Latif Feyzullayev and Vajihe Samadova, embodying our homeland’s beauty, the lifestyle, concerns and labour of our fellow citizens, have been displayed.
The exhibition continued until August 4.
A dinner party was also arranged in Cannes, within the framework of the Azerbaijani culture days. A concert programme with participation of renowned musicians of Azerbaijan – People’s Artist Anvar Sadigov and Honoured Artist Emil Afrasiab – was presented, and treasures of the national music were performed.
