Kharibulbul International Music Festival
On May 9 to 11, 2023, the Kharibulbul International Music Festival was held in the city of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Culture Ministry.
Creative groups from countries of TURKSOY, Turkic language countries and peoples participated in the Festival.
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, the Gagauzian Autonomous Territorial Entity of the Republic of Moldova, Uzbekistan, as well as Karakalpakstan Autonomous Republic of Uzbekistan, the republics of Altay, Khakassia, Sakha (Yakutia), Tatarstan and Tuva of the Russian Federation, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan were represented at the Festival, along with Azerbaijan.
Sections on the theme “Flag”, “Heroism”, “A Meeting in Karabakh”, “Poetry”, “Dada Gorgud”, “Dervishes”, “Molla Nasraddin” were created at various places during the festival days. Various artistic presentations and shows were demonstrated in these sections.
Various concert programmes, exhibitions and a film were demonstrated on Jydyr Plain, before the statue of Uzeir Hajibeyli, in Bulbul’s house-museum and other places of Shusha.
