Mehriban Aliyeva meets with a group of representatives of “Figures of Medicine” section of the first Azerbaijan-Russia Forum on Humanitarian Cooperation

Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, met with a group of representatives of “Figures of Medicine” Section of the First Azerbaijan-Russia Forum on Humanitarian Cooperation underway in Baku, 22 January.

Mehriban Aliyeva informed the visitors about the Foundation`s activities. The First Lady said the Foundation has implemented various humanitarian projects, particularly in the field of healthcare. She said the Foundation has always attached great importance to solution of problems of IDP children and those without parental care. M.Aliyeva noted “the goal of the Foundation is to serve the people”.

Works done in Azerbaijan to have healthcare in the level of international standards, also in field of international personnel exchange, equipping medical centers with modern appliances were discussed in the meeting.

Praising projects and programs of the Foundation in various spheres the visitors expressed delight of visit to Azerbaijan.
