Mehriban Aliyeva meets with researcher and writer Rudolf Ivanov

July 3, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met with renowned Russian writer-scientist Rudolf Ivanov and his spouse Yekaterina.

Mehriban Aliyeva had her picture taken together with the writer and his spouse.

Mehriban Aliyeva congratulated writer Ivanov, famous for his books about Azerbaijan`s servicemen, on his being awarded a “Dostlug” (Friendship) Order in accordance with the order of the Azerbaijani President.

Expressing gratitude to the writer for fairly studying the history of Azerbaijan and valuable works on this topic Mehriban Aliyeva noted his creative work is the contribution to Azerbaijan-Russia cultural ties.

The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation wished the writer every success in his creative work.

Expressing gratitude for warm reception and attention to his activities the writer assessed the “Dostlug” Order awarded to him in accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev as a great value set to his creativity.

Ivanov thanked the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for assistance in publishing his books.
