Mehriban Aliyeva met with Founder and President of the Advanced Development for Africa Foundation

First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met with Founder and President of the Advanced Development for Africa Foundation Coumba D. Touré, January 14.

Welcoming the guest, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed confidence that the visit would be fruitful. Informing the guest of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activity, the First Lady of Azerbaijan told that the Foundation has been implementing projects aimed at solving humanitarian and social challenges both in Azerbaijan and throughout the world, providing material and medical assistance to the poor and those in need, as well as projects in the spheres of education and culture. Saying “From this standpoint, activities of our Foundations are similar”, Mehriban Aliyeva said she was hopeful she would be pleased to build fruitful cooperation in future, and underlined that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation had broad experience in implementing different types of projects.

Mrs. Coumba D. Touré  thanked Mehriban Aliyeva for the invitation. Having said she was aware of the Foundation’s activity, the guest congratulated the First Lady of Azerbaijan on the successes in implementation of projects. Mrs. Coumba D. Touré expressed contentment in the fact that activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and of the headed by her organization coincided, and said they would be proud of the joint partnership.
