Meeting with US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met with US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar, March 15.

Mehriban Aliyeva informed the guest of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activity, and talked of the directions of cooperation with international organizations, including UNESCO and ISESCO.

Exchange of opinions was held during the meeting with regard to education, exchange of students between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and USA, as well as establishment of women vocational and training schools. At such schools, girls would master various professions.

It was mentioned that in Azerbaijan women-entrepreneurs enjoy the state support, and special care is shown towards encouragement of their role in the society and, public activity.

The Ambassador congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva on the upcoming Novruz Holiday.

Discussions were also held at the meeting on other mutually interesting projects.
