Mehriban Aliyeva met with Italian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group members

First Lady of Azerbaijan, member of the Milli Majlis Mehriban Aliyeva met on October 14 with the delegation of the Italian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group led by Senator Mrs. Rosanna Boldi, the head of the group.

Having sincerely welcomed the delegation from Italy, the First Lady of Azerbaijan said she was pleased to see them in the capital of Azerbaijan. Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva talked of the Foundation’s activity. The First Lady noted that the Foundation had implemented various projects both in Azerbaijan and also beyond its boundaries.

Having highly valued the visit of the friendship group to Azerbaijan, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva expressed confidence that this visit would contribute to the development of relations between the two countries. Having wished success to the guests’ work, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation invited them to get closely acquainted, within their trip, with the city of Baku, a source of pride of the Azerbaijani people.  

Head of the Italian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary group, Senator Mrs. Rosanna Boldi thanked the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the meeting. Mrs. R. Boldi said their visit to Baku with 9 representatives is an obvious example of the high value given by the Italian Government to Azerbaijan.
