Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized with secondary schools in Tartar and Barda districts

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva was familiarized with secondary schools in Tartar and Barda districts within the `New school to new Azerbaijan` program of the Foundation in frame of visit of President Ilham Aliyev to these districts.

Mrs Aliyeva arrived first in Duyerli village of Tartar district, took interest in education process in the 100-seat school built by initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The body of the school thanked Mehriban Aliyeva for paying attention to the education of village children. Taking interest in the needs of the schools Mrs Aliyeva was informed this educational center had been supplied with necessary school appliances and manuals.

The Goodwill Ambassador of UNECO viewed the old classrooms of the school, was familiarized with course of education. She said new education building and library will recently be built in place of these old buildings by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Another school built by initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Tartar district is situated in Sarijaly village. Familiarization with the conditions created showed even if the school was built within short time the construction works have been done in high level. The school is equipped with the advanced school appliances. The school is considered for 100 pupils. But 200 children get education here. Mehriban Aliyeva noted Heydar Aliyev Foundation decided to build new educational building in place of old buildings to remove the existing difficulties.

Then Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva arrived in Yeni Dashkend village of Barda district. The 240-seat new village school named after National Hero Yusif Kerimov has been built by initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Teachers having dealt for long years with education of the village children under hard conditions valued the construction of convenient and beautiful school supplied with necessary appliances and manuals as very big gift of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its President to the villagers.

Mehriban Aliyeva took interest in problems of teachers. Teachers expressed satisfaction for the essential role of the wide-scale projects realized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in different spheres in the progress of Azerbaijan, protection of the national and moral values, education of the young generation, protection of health.

The President of the Foundation underlined more 3 new schools will recently be constructed in Barda district.

Mehriban Aliyeva met and talked with villagers after familiarization with the school.
