President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva acquainted themselves with the conditions created at essentially repaired Nursery-kindergarten No.67 in Mushfigabad settlement of Baku, December 27.

Head of the Baku City Executive Authority Hajibala Abutalybov informed that, being in the balance of Baku City Preschool Education Establishments and Children Homes Department, the two-storied building was constructed in 1987. In the course of the past 25 years, no essential repair and reconstruction works were carried out here. According to Azerbaijani President’s instruction, essential repair of the building started in June last year.

Viewing the photo-stand reflecting the building’s appearance before the repair, President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the building had fallen into total disrepair. The new building of the kindergarten is now to the highest standards.

40 teachers will be engaged in education of 112 children between the ages 2 to 6 in 7 groups. Separate music and games rooms are functioning in the kindergarten. In addition to up-to-date technical facilities and toys, a 3D format cinema system, a present from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was installed in the music hall. In a canteen with light and spacious area, children will be provided meal four times a day. The kitchen equipment was presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

A separate physician’s room is functioning in the building. A classroom on the second floor has been designed to teach the Russian, English and other foreign languages. A centralized heating system was created in the building and video-surveillance cameras installed in each room. The yard was improved, greenery planted and a special ground was created to teach children the traffic rules. Separate games and rest corners have been created in the territory.

Expressing his gratitude for the conditions created at the kindergarten, President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
