Mehriban Aliyeva attended boarding and secondary schools in Gusar and Guba

In frame of visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Gusar district, spouse of the President, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva attended the boarding school in Gusar city.

Collective of the school sincerely welcomed the distinguished guest like their native.

 

Walking the dwelling and education buildings of the school, Mehriban Aliyeva was informed 189-place this educational center that was built in 1957 was repaired for the last time 35 years ago and is in the worst state. Despite it was partly repaired recently by local businessman, problems are many in the school. There are big difficulties in winter because boiler-house is fully out of order. Dining-room building is fully unavailable for use.

 

Pedagogical collective welcomed with deep satisfaction the information given by Mrs Aliyeva that Heydar Aliyev Foundation will assist to repair of the school, its provision with appliances and manuals.

 

4 of 132 village schools that will be built this year by Heydar Aliyev Foundation are in Gusar district. Residents welcomed with big respect the spouse of the President who came to Kohne Khudat village to have close acquaintance with the construction of those schools. Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva went to construction yard to be familiarized with the construction. Chairman of `Azersutejhizattikinti` JSC, building the school, Mirzajan Khalilov said 240-place school consisted of 12 classrooms will be commissioned till September 15.

 

According to the program `New school to renewing Azerbaijan`, new school building is being built in Gunduzgala village of Gusar. President of the Foundation was closely familiarized with construction works here. During the talk villagers thanked the distinguished guest for the settlement of the issue that disturbed them for long years. Constructors emphasized the help of the village residents in construction works.

 

Giving the sincere greetings of Azeri President to the villagers, Mrs Aliyeva said she would deliver to the President their desires regarding other social problems.

Children of Gimizgazma village of Guba district were obliged so far to get education at the school built in the earlier last century, consisted of several classrooms and having no circumstance. New educational building will be erected now in place of the old building on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

After sincerely meeting with local people, Mehriban Aliyeva visited the place where the building of school is built, gave recommendations. Chief of trust of Motorway Department of Transport Ministry, implementing the construction, Rauf Hebibov informed of the schedule of construction works.

 

Then President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Leila took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation of the school.

 

Constructors said the basic works at the school consisted of 20 classrooms with heating and other communicational system in modern level will be ended till the new school year.

 

Spouse and daughter of the President were taken picture for memory with teachers, children and constructors at each school.
