Mehriban Aliyeva attended children`s home and school built by initiative of the Foundation in Lankaran city

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO Mehriban Aliyeva attended on September 8 in frame of the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to the southern region the children`s home named after Osman Mirzayev, took interest in problems of the children trained here.

Mehriban Aliyeva listened to songs and poems in performance of the children, cherished to the babies.

Having close familiarization with the conditions of the home, Mehriban Aliyeva said the building that has not been repaired for long years needed the fundamental repair and this work would soon start by initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Then Mehriban Aliyeva arrived to Shaglaser village of the district to be acquainted with construction of the new school building implemented by initiative of the Foundation. Teaching staff of the school, parents, pupils, constructors sincerely welcomed the President of the Foundation, thanked her for charitable mission, care and attention to the children.

Mehriban Aliyeva sincerely talked to villagers, talked of the activity of the Foundation named after the great leader Heydar Aliyev, expressed satisfaction for the sincerity shown to her.
