Mehriban Aliyeva visited central children's home in Zagreb

Special program was compiled for Mehriban Aliyeva in frame of official visit of Azeri President Ilham Aliyev to Croatia.

On June 10 Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva met with spouse of Croatian President Milka Mesic. Spouses of presidents exchanged views on issues concerning culture, propaganda of its constituent branch - folklore and cooperation in this field, as well public health, state care for orphan and invalid children.

UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva arrived the same day to central children`s home in Zagreb. Direction and the home and children trained here sincerely welcomed spouse of Azeri President. The distinguished guest was informed that every kind of conditions has been created here for training and education, as well all-sided development of 120 orphan and invalid children.

Mehriban Aliyeva wished success to collective of this children institution in their charitable and generous mission, informed about the programs, implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation led by her, in field of settlement of problems of children`s homes and boarding schools in our country, protection of health of our young citizens.

Croatian children were presented gifts on behalf of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.
