New School opened in Masazyr settlement on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Newly constructed Secondary School No.3 was inaugurated September 15, the Day of Knowledge, in Masazyr settlement.

Addressing the ceremony of opening Executive Director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Elekberov said a number of new schools were opened in the country today. According to him, up to 300 schools have been built in the republic in 2005-2009 at the initiative of the Foundation.

Underlining the Foundation gives huge importance to projects in field of education the Executive Director noted a special action plan will be realized from 2010 for pupils of the School. Mr Elekberov expressed thanks to entrepreneur hajy Maharram Novruzov for the support to construction of the School.

Head of Absheron District Executive Power Zakir Farajov said 13 schools were launched in the district for the past 3 years, 2 educational buildings are under construction.

According to him, 5 schools were opened in the district at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Z.Farajov expressed gratitude to President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.

Nearly 60 teachers will work at the 500-seat School, 31 classrooms of which have every facility. 

Constructed in frame of the New School to New Azerbaijan Project of Heydar Aliyev Foundation the School has computer, subject cabinets, chemistry, physics labs supplied with state-of-art equipment, a large football ground. 

Kindergarten and music school of the School are under construction, swimming pool will be built in the ear future.

After ribbon cutting ceremony Executive Director of the Foundation Anar Elekberov and Head of Absheron District Executive Power Zakir Farajov familiarized themselves with the School, congratulated teachers and pupils on the new school year.
