Secondary school opened in Shemkir on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

The 490-seat secondary school built on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Chinarly settlement, Shemkir district was opened on September 17.

 

Addressing the opening ceremony Principal of the School Irada Aliyeva expressed on behalf of the staff gratitude to Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its President, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for the nice and modern 2-floor school constructed in place of the building that was in the state of emergency.

 

Heydar Aliyev Foundation CEO Anar Elekberov talked of activities of the Foundation, which writes indelible pages of the national statehood history with its public-political action, and its President Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva. He said safeguarding our education and culture since its establishment the Foundation that has launched over 300 secondary schools in the republic, built new cultural and medical centers takes active position in settlement of social problems of population. The Foundation has realized charity actions inside and outside the country. Mentioning the 650-seat secondary school for girls built in Pakistan after the quake A.Elekberov noted these works are underway.      

 

He underlined the school in Chinarly is opened on the eve of holy Ramadan Holiday, congratulated all residents of Shemkir on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, wished them success.

 

Head of Shemkir District Executive Power Nazim Veysov congratulated teachers and pupils starting the new school year in the well-equipped school meeting the modern standards, thanked Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of the residents of the district. 

 

After the ribbon cutting ceremony the participants of the ceremony were familiarized with the School, which has a centralized heat system, cabinets, labs, library with more than 2000 literatures, assembly hall, doctor’s room, dining room, gym.
