Cornerstone of new school laid in Piran village of Lerik district

Cornerstone of new 2-floor, 320-pupil school was laid in Piran village of Lerik district.

The new school construction of which was organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation will have gym, conference room, diner, library, doctor’s and computer rooms, subject rooms as well.

Head of the district executive power Rovshan Bagyrov, MP Miri Ganbarov, President of State Oil Company Rovnag Abdullayev, teachers and pupils, residents of the village addressed the ceremony, expressed gratitude to Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, for construction of new building for the school that was located in the building arranged 40 years ago, support to development of education and strengthening of its logistics in regions.
