New education center launched in Novkhany in frame of programme ‘New school to new Azerbaijan’

Opening ceremony of new building for School 2 took place on September 18 in Novkhany village of Absheron district.

Talking of the successful education policy of independent state of Azerbaijan head of the district education office Nadir Agayev noted the School, which is the seventh education institution commissioned in Absheron district this year, has been built in frame of Programme ‘New School to New Azerbaijan’ of Heydar Aliyev Foundation led by Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP. Besides, new buildings have been built for 2 schools. More 10 schools will be built next year in Absheron district due to state funds and on the initiative of the Foundation named after the great leader.

Nadir Agayev expressed gratitude on behalf of education employees and pupils of Absheron district to President Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation for care and attention.

Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov, Deputy Education Minister Elmar Gasymov, Head of Absheron District Executive Power Zakir Farajov talked in the ceremony of essence of education policy of state of Azerbaijan, allocations of huge funds by governmental and non-governmental lines to these goals, importance of construction and equipment with modern techs of new schools. They mentioned the Order signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on determining best 50 schools and 100 teachers of the year must be assessed as one of important steps inspiring development of education. They evaluated changing of Azerbaijan into leader state in the region, winning of Azeri athlete Farid Mansurov the highest prize of World Wrestling Championship that is for the first time held in Baku is logical result of economic successes obtained, stressed all this is the source to pride of every Azerbaijani and plays great role in growth of the youth in patriotic soul.

Addressing the opening ceremony Hajji Eldar Novruzov thanked on behalf of the villagers for care and attention, emphasized local population supports domestic and foreign policy of the President. 

Pupils said poems on homeland and great leader Heydar Aliyev.

The 2-floor building, which seats 240 pupils in 11 rooms, is equipped with every facility to assure modern education. The School that has been supplied with textbooks according to the number of pupils has library, computer room, sports ground, buffet.
