President Ilham Aliyev attends the inauguration of the Child Academy of Baku Oxford School constructed in Shamkir following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

On September 10, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of the Child Academy of Baku Oxford School in Shamkir. Designed for 80 children, the Academy has been built following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative.

The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the inauguration of the building.

It was informed that construction of the building started in May last year. Construction works were finished in June this year. All conditions have been created at the Academy to make sure that children spend their leisure times efficiently. To operate based on special education programs, the Academy will admit children from 2 years. Here children will go through a training process based on the world-famous “Kiddie Academy” education program. Being taught in over 65 countries, this program is one of the education programs used in leading schools.

President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the conditions created at the Academy.

Photos reflecting care and attention shown by national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva toward children are exhibited in the building’s foyer and rooms. Special corners have been created here for children’s rest. Classrooms to ensure that children receive quality education, as well as a kitchen and a canteen have been built to children’s taste. In addition, the Academy has four bedrooms, and an art-studio for children showing interest to art.
