Inauguration of a new building of Kindergarten №246 in Buzovna settlement of Khazar district took place, September 25.

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the Foundation’s Vice-president Leyla Aliyeva attended the inauguration.

Constructed in 1985, the previous building of the kindergarten had fallen into disrepair.  Following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, a new building has been constructed in place of the old one. Now the conditions created at Kindergarten №246 conform to the highest standards.

A Russian section will function at the kindergarten in addition to the Azerbaijani section. Here, a professional team will be engaged in the education of 220 children. Necessary conditions have been created at the kindergarten to operate with eleven groups in order to ensure that children grow up healthily and receive all-round education, and it has been provided with necessary equipment and toys. The kindergarten has been presented furniture by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The yard has been improved, trees and shrubs planted and a 4500 sq.m. area, play grounds and pavilions built.

Mehriban Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva then attended the inauguration of Nursery-kindergarten №214 in Turkan settlement of Khazar district.

Constructed following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, the kindergarten’s total area is about 6 thousand square metres, the area under construction 3800 sq.m. Improvement works have been done around the kindergarten, trees and shrubs planted. Football pitch and recreation corners have been created for children, various amusement facilities installed.

Necessary conditions have been created at the two-storied building for kindergarten to ensure children’s preschool education. 10 groups will function in the kindergarten designed for 200 children. Two of them are for a low-age group and two for a middle-age group. High level conditions have been created also for three elder and three preschool education groups. All education rooms have been provided with visual aids. The kindergarten has ten bedrooms. The music room has been provided with necessary equipment. In addition, play rooms for children’s psychological training, as well as high level dining rooms have been created. A swimming pool meeting the highest standards has been built at the kindergarten to ensure that children grow in sound health.
