President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration of Nursery-kindergarten №136 in Badamdar settlement of Baku after reconstruction

On September 26, the building of Nursery-kindergarten №136 in Badamdar settlement of Sabail district, Baku, was commissioned after major reconstruction works.

Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Arzu Aliyeva attended the inauguration.

The First Lady viewed a stand reflecting the building’s previous condition.

Following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, major reconstruction works at the kindergarten started in June 2013. All necessary actions have been taken in order for reconstruction works to be accomplished timely and with high quality. As a result, the conditions at the kindergarten were brought to conformity with the most advanced requirements.

Built in 1969, the kindergarten consists of 3 buildings. Here, a team of 18 pedagogues and 8 technical workers are engaged in education of 150 children in 8 groups from 2 to 6. 28 rooms in the building, as well as music and play rooms, a medical room, a kitchen and ancillary rooms have been provided with all necessary equipment. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented the kindergarten new sets of furniture, fridges, TV-sets, toys and other necessary items.

Improvement works have been done in the courtyard of the children’s home and  booths, entertainment and sport facilities built for children’s rest. A special ground has been made in the backyard to teach children the traffic rules. Additional design works have been done in all 3 buildings of the kindergarten.
