President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of S. Abbasov Secondary School No.117 in Bina settlement

President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of S. Abbasov Secondary School No.117 in Bina settlement of Khazar district, October 19.

In the opening the First Lady was presented flowers. The ribbon symbolizing the opening of the School was cut.

Mehriban Aliyeva was informed that fallen into disrepair, the building was destructed in December 2010 and reconstructed within the New School to New Azerbaijan Program of the Foundation. The 3-hectare School, which is attended by 2040 pupils, is consisted of 81 classrooms, 4 computer rooms, conference hall and gym, labs, library, doctor’s room, labour studios. The lobby includes a photo stand demonstrating national leader Heydar Aliyev’s and President Ilham Aliyev’s care to education. A new sports pitch with artificial turf has been created in the yard. 140 teachers work at the School. Equipment in computer rooms has been donated by the Foundation. 

Then Mrs. Aliyeva toured the classrooms, computer rooms, labs, canteen, took interest in the heat supply. She was told all rooms were supplied with the latest heat system.
