A school building constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Khanabad village of Yevlakh district is commissioned

As the school building constructed in Khanabad village in 1978 had been worn out, it was unfit for use. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation constructed a new school building meant for 360 pupils for Khanabad village, and commissioned for the new academic year.

 

The school’s inauguration ceremony was attended by chairperson of the Regional Development Public Association of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mahammad Abdullayev, head of Yevlakh District Executive Authority Anar Taghiyev, department chief of the Ministry of Science and Education Rashad Khanlarov, head of the Central Lowland Regional Education Department Elchin Kerimov, the school staff, and villagers.

 

It was underscored, while becoming familiar with the education institution, that the school building – three-storied and comprised of 4 buildings – accommodates 19 classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, subject rooms, rooms for information technology, military training, first aid and labour training rooms, a library, a canteen, an assembly hall, and an outdoor sports ground. Provided with necessary furniture and equipment, visual aids, the education institution has also an up-to-date heating and illumination systems. Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the school’s backyard, and decorative shrubs and trees were planted.

 

It was underscored that commissioning of such an education building in the village is an obvious example of the care shown towards the education within the country, as well as improvement of the quality of education in Yevlakh. The school’s staff expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.
