A series of new school buildings were commissioned for the new school year with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Among them is the building of the Zalimkhan Village Secondary School named after A. Asimoghlu in Aghstafa district.
The first building of the school was constructed in 1930, with the second one being constructed in 1988. The buildings had fallen into disrepair during the previous period. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation constructed a new building for the school, meant for 220 pupils.
The school building accommodates 12 classrooms, laboratories for physics and chemistry, rooms for informatics, military training, first aid, labour training, as well as a library, a canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground.
The three-storied school building has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment, with subject rooms and laboratories being equipped with visual aids.
Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the backyard of the school, decorative shrubs and trees were planted, providing it with up-to-date illumination system.
