Another project by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is implemented for the new school year in Khachmaz

Constructed in 1938, the secondary school in Istisu settlement of Khachmaz district had fallen into disrepair during the previous period. For this reason, as the address of the next project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of education was chosen that settlement of Khachmaz.

Launched at the beginning of this year, the construction of the new school was completed and the education institution was commissioned for pupils and teachers’ use on the Day of Knowledge.  

The three-storied school consists of 2 buildings. Meant for 320 pupils, the school has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment. The subject rooms-physics, chemistry and biology, rooms for information technology, military training, first aid and labour training, and laboratories have been equipped with visual aids.

Here are also a library, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground.

Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the backyard of the school.

Having approached, on the first day of its constitution, the sphere of education with special delicacy, and declared the development of this field a priority direction of its activities, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, having implemented such programmes as “New Schools for new Azerbaijan”, “Support for Education”, has been providing its support to education in Azerbaijan. Education complexes constructed and basically renovated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation serve the improvement of the quality of education.
