Another project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Shamakhy district

A new school building – meant for 132 pupils - constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Hajygadirli village of Shamakhy was commissioned. Representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Shamakhy District Executive Authority, teachers and pupils of the school, and villagers attended the inauguration of the newly commissioned school building.

 

Speaking at the event, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Shamil Azizov, head of the Shamakhy District Executive Authority Tahir Mammadov congratulated the teachers and pupils on the commissioning of the new school building.

 

Head of the Shamakhy District Executive Authority Tahir Mammadov talked about the state’s care shown towards the advancement of education in the country, strengthening the material and technical basis of secondary schools in Shamakhy in recent years, construction of new education institutions, and projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in this sphere. 

 

Acting principal of the school Sheyda Sheydayev brought to attention, in his speech, that the school building was provided with necessary equipment. He thanked, on behalf of the teaching staff and the villagers, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the new school.

 

The old building of the secondary school in Hajygadirli village of Shamakhy district was constructed in 1975. As the building had fallen into disrepair, a new school building - meant for 132 pupils - was constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The two-storied school complex consists of three buildings. The school has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment, with subject rooms and laboratories being equipped with visual aids. Here are 10 classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, rooms for informatics, military training, labour training, a library, a canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground. The new school has been provided with uninterrupted water supply, a heating system, as well as fire alarm and video surveillance systems.

 

16 teachers will be engaged in the education of 132 pupils in the new school.
