A new school meant for 360 pupils is built in Saatly district

Gunashli village Secondary School named after Omar Faig Nemanzade in Saatly started to function as a primary school in 1994. As the building had fallen into disrepair during the previous period, there arose a need to construct a new school building.

Another project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of education covered the Saatly district.

The new school complex is 3-storied, comprised of 4 buildings.

The school was provided with necessary furniture and equipment, while the subject rooms and laboratories were equipped with visual aids.

Here are 17 classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, rooms for informatics, military training, first aid, labour training, a library, a canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground.

Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the backyard of the school.
