New buildings constructed in Masazyr and Qala for Kalbajar Schools at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation opened

New buildings have been constructed at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation for School 126 and School 19 of Kalbajar respectively in Masazyr and Qala settlements of Absheron district.

Ceremonies took place January 10 to open the buildings.

In both ceremonies, official of the Presidential Administration Rovshan Aghayev, head of section at the Cabinet Gurban Sadygov, delegate of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Ilgar Mustafayev, representative of Education Ministry Sabir Hamidov, Deputy Head of Kalbajar District Executive Power Novruz Chyragov talked of measures taken in the country to maintain logistics of education and build schools, thanked President Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention to this field. The speakers congratulated teachers and pupils and wished them success.

School 126 had been functioning since 1999 in the 9-room building in Masazyr. 4 of classrooms were built due to domestic resources of Kalbajar district, 5 by Norwegian Refugee Council. The new building covers 240 seats in 16 rooms. It has heat, water, sewage systems, necessary educational devices, diner and library.  

School 19 has been acting in 6 carriages in Qala since 2007. The new building has 15 rooms seating 220 pupils. The building has heat system, necessary appliances, computer network, sport ground. Verdurization works have been done in the yard, a spring complex created.
