President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva visits special school for the boys needing for serious training circumstance located in settlement Merdekan

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva has stated this during her visit to special school for the boys needing for serious training circumstance located in settlement Merdekan of the Azizbeyov district of Baku.

Distinguished guest was welcomed with flowers.

Informing Mehriban Aliyeva, Nadir Ahmedov, the principal of the School where 124 pupils are trained and 26 tutors work, has noted, that this educational institution consisting of 3 buildings till now was not repaired. Due to the means allocated last year a part of hostel has been repaired only, but in view of their shortage, the work has remained uncompleted.

Mehriban Aliyeva was interested in study of the children of II-IX classes, has familiarized with the sports hall, library, medical aid station, hostel, dining room and kitchen, has asked about quality of meal, has visited the food warehouse.

During the conversation, it has been especially underlined necessity of carrying out of the important work on improvement of conditions at school, need of the building for major overhaul.
