President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva visits children homes of Baku
Fundamental repair and reconstruction works have been implemented at children home 1 in Nizami district of Baku due to funds of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Children gave a sincere welcome to Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, her daughters Leila and Arzu come to the home on this occasion on November 24.
Mehriban Aliyeva uncovered the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the foyer of the ground floor of the building, laid flowers on the monument.
Director of the school Narmina Zohrabova informed building of the children home constructed in the 1950s has not been repaired for so long and it was in unsuitable circumstance indeed. Fundamental repair and reconstruction works implemented since April this year by initiative of Mrs Aliyeva have fully been completed, the home equipped with modern appliances.
Mehriban Aliyeva saw the photo corner on the state of the building before and after repair.
40 trainers, medical employees and servants deal here with health and education of 130 children aged 3-17. Children go the school 220 next to the home. Besides, experienced teachers educate them at the children home in base of special program. Labor training classes are preferred much. Courses of carpet-weaving, sewing, painting, dance and etc. help children in possessing various professions. Mrs Aliyeva saw the handworks of children, highly valued the paintings of brothers Nahid and Natig Sariyev, Rustam Mammadov on Garabagh and patriotic subjects, viewed the photo corners on life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Foundation named after great leader. Poems said, rhythmic songs and dances performed by children in wide hall caused big interest. Children, learning computer, expressed with warm words written on computer their respect and love to genius person Heydar Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.
Newly built bathroom, swimming pool, summer concert place, stadium, meeting, sport and dance halls, green fields in the yard, handworks of children, museum-exhibition in the children home were proof that all kinds of conditions were created here for healthy growth of children from physical and mental views, which is fruit of charitable activity of the Foundation.
Mehriban Aliyeva was presented a carpet reflecting image of great leader Heydar Aliyev and his beloved grandson little Heydar. Mrs Aliyeva said the genius person used to love much this photo and she would keep this carpet as a precious souvenir.
Later coming to the building constructed due to funds of the Foundation in Khatai district for Agdam district IDP school 81, Mrs Aliyeva walked classrooms of this school equipped with new appliances, talked to the teachers and pupils, underlined President Ilham Aliyev takes all possible actions that IDPs return to their native lands, these efforts will have positive results.
Little residents of children homes 3 in Khatai district and 2 in Surakhani district welcomed with joy Mrs Aliyeva, her daughters Leila and Arzu. They together sat at the table and cherished to the children as their mother and sisters. Then music was played, joyful dances and songs followed each other. With poems said children expressed their love for Homeland, great leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijani President. Words said by great leader Heydar Aliyev to the children were sounded on the monitor.
Employees of the Foundation granted gifts to the children.
Stressing the great moral importance of the works done within `Program on development of children homes and boarding schools`, teachers congratulated President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva on her election as deputy of Milli Majlis.
