Charity campaign under the motto “Make sure you are healthy, say NO to disease!” held in Moscow under leadership and support of Leila Aliyeva, Head of Russia Office of Heydar Aliyev Foundation

30 November, Azerbaijan Youth Organization of Russia (AYOR) held a charity campaign under the motto “Make sure you are healthy, say NO to disease!” in Moscow, Russia. The campaign was supported by the Azerbaijan Club of Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M.Sechenov.


As part of the drive free medical check-up and awareness campaign, one of the private Moscow clinics IntelMed, led by Professor Safar Hamidov (Head of Urology Chair at Pirogov Russian Medical University), inspected free of charge over 70 Azerbaijani and Russian citizens. All of them underwent medical inspection by highly skilled doctors of the clinic, including urologists, physicians, dermatologists, dentists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, ultrasound examination of all organs, duplex scan of peripheral veins, echocardiogram.

 

Samir Aliyev, post graduate of Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M.Sechenov, member of AYOR Inspection Committee, said the campaign was organized and supported by Leila Aliyeva, Head of Russia Office of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. According to him, AYOR pays huge attention to health of Azeri youth. S.Aliyev said: “This action once again shows that the youth organization is open to all. Both our countrymen and Russian citizens had opportunity to have free check-up. Every participant of the campaign was inspected by several doctors and received qualified advice. Up to 200 different medical check-ups were realized the same day.”

 

Samir Aliyev expressed gratitude on behalf of Azerbaijan youth and attendees of the campaign to Chairwoman of AYOR Leila Aliyeva for supporting the initiative by the Azerbaijan Club of Moscow Medical Academy, Chief Doctor of IntelMed Clinic Safar Hamidov for contributing to free checkup of countrymen.
