President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the Children`s Medical Rehabilitation Hospital of the Ministry of Health

On October 18, Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the newly reconstructed Children`s Medical Rehabilitation Hospital of the Ministry  of Health in Mardakan settlement, the substantial reconstruction of which was carried out by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative.

In the inpatient segment, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva was informed that the Hospital operating since 1973 covers 16.700sq.m. The 40-ward Hospital, repair of which started in August 2009, has been equipped with new inventories and modern appliances.

The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation saw a photo stand reflecting the care by national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva towards children, familiarized herself with therapist’s, physical training, psychologist’s, game, physiotherapy rooms, wards and diner. In the physiotherapy room children are treated with traditional methods and herbal teas, natural juices, oxygen cocktails as well. The therapy and physical training hall has been equipped with state-of-the-art devices, wards arranged according to children’s taste.

In the physiotherapy department, the First Lady was informed that the 280-sq.m building has IVF, EEG, Spa, electroplating bath, underwater massage, and physiotherapy rooms provided with latest appliances.

The yard of the Hospital has been improved, a pool built, new trees, decorative flowers and bushes planted.
